Destroy Judaism!
The over 2,000 years history Judaism; the exodus; the evolution of the people; the exile; and now the destruction. From the anciet levantites, exodus jews, first temple jews, second temple jews, the exiled, kabbalah, orthodox, reform, conserative, reconstructionist, secularist, pagans, bundist, zionist, and the destruction of everything.
Achtung! I am not a Rabbi! This piece of text is my personal viewing of Judaism and the Jewish people. Do not take this has rabbinical text or treat it has such. If you are an outsider, do not take this as all Jews, if you are Jewish, consult your rabbi on any of this.
Who is a Jew?
The age old question: Who is a Jew? This question is obviously very opinionated at times, but here is my take on it.
First off, Othordox Jews, they are clearly jews, when people get a Jew in their head, it is mostly this type. They are the most standard doctrine of Judaism.
Conserative and Reform Jews? Yes, they are Jews. I am baised coming from conserative judaism, but they still follow talmud and jewish law, just way more loose with interpretations. Judaism is best when you can question things.
For the Hasidi Jews, yes they are also Jews. Having mystical teachings does not make someone un-jewish. They still follow more traditional othordox views. This goes for the neo-hasidists too, embracing mysticism is fine. Kabbalah is just extending the works of Judaism like the Talmud did.
Jesus the Messiah? If you think Jesus was the messiah, then you are not Jewish, you are Christian. Does not matter how Jewish you are, you follow Jewish law or rabbinical teachings, you are not Jewish. Christians are people who think Jesus was the messiah, so by that you are a Christian.
Follow other prophets like Muhammad or the Buddha? I do believe the lord has brought many prophets into the world to teach other nations, it is important to say who is a false one and their beliefs. The important measure is if it conflicts with many Jewish teachings or go more along with another religion. For Muhammad, you are not Jewish but Muslim. Muhammad had a very different religion in mind than Judaism, with its own book, not the tanakh and talmud. For Buddha, I say yes it is fine. I advise being a buddhist not to follow all their traditions, but buddhism and judaism just go hand-to-hand at times. I recommend not having idols, but it is your choice, just make sure you keep the lord as the most important.
Monothiest, Polythiest, Monolatry, Panentheism, Secularism? This is most likely my most dicey opinion. My very unothordox opinion is all of these are fine. For polythiests, you must have still accept Jewish culture or beliefs, like accept early cannatite gods, not be a polythiests of only other gods, and still accept jewish texts or traditions. Same for secularal, Judaism can be a culture, I have no problem with Jews turning away from the lord, that is their choice. But to continue being a Jew, I believe you should stay culturally one. Panentheism is a okay belief to have, beliving the lord is the universe, this belief does go into kabbalah teaching, and still says the lord is the most important. Monolatry is also okay, it still sticks to having the lord being the most powerful and important. I think modern monolatry comes from more pagan beliefs and interpretations of angels, demons, and other cultures. As long you keep lord the most powerful, the one to pray for, and believe in Jewish text, you are perfectly fine.
Personal Anecdote of Judaism
When I was first born, I was not Jewish, but Athiest-Christian. Two families who were from calthic and orthodox, but mainly athiests. I am now pretty far away from them now. I became a conserative Jew. Sadly, I moved around so much, I became very far from any temple. I never questioned my faith in the lord, but my faith in Judaism I have. It was not like I did not want to be Jewish anymore, just wanted to furthar myself, because of tensions in Israel and people distaste for Jews. But here I am, still a Jew for many years (for a teenager). I do still connect with conserative views on Jewish law, I have got into more untraditional beliefs. I at first became super interested in kabbalah beliefs, as occult stuff always apealed to me. Buddhism also was another interest of mine, if I did not became Jewish, it would be Buddhism. After hearing many stories of Jews in buddhism, I accept the identification of being a JuBu.
I obviously am not secular, and do not consider myself a polythiest. I am a monothiest as in believing in the one and most important god. With my kabbalah beliefs, that does turn into pantheism, with him being the universe, or panentheism. Finally monolatry, I am not 100% a monolatrist. I think my monlatry beliefs fall into more monothiesm, I think there is a chance for other god-like things, like angels and demons, and the chance of other culture gods existing, in the form of lower gods, angels, or demons. While I doubt the lords traditional monotheism, he will still forever be most important.
Because of this non tradition view of monotheism, I do not see myself as a traditional religious Jew, but still far from a secular one. That why I prefer the term kabbalah for my religion. The Torah is the word of God, and I still put importance in Rabbi text. I have love for mystical of the Zohar and other kabbalah texts.
Heretic Jew
I do come a conserative Judaism background, so I do believe Jewish law is not divine and can be interperted. I do think while writing on Maimanides that is important to note. Maimanides, the important Torah scholar, wrote on the "13 principles of faith". I do follow these prinicples faithfuly as I can.
The first prinicple is belief in the existence of the creator and is the cause of everything to exisit. I fully do put this belief in my heart, I reject any belief of creator's not being real, and believe he is the cause of everything, even if those means are by other things like science or some type of supernatural way. Event like the big bang is caused by him, and any action from angel, demon, or god-like creature comes from the creator.
This prinicple does interfer with secular and modern caanite paganist of today. The caanite paganist even breaking the rule of worshipping foreign gods. Now does breaking principles of Judaism take you out of being Jewish? For these people being Jewish is more of a cultural aspect. These books of Judaism just being a culture aspect of Jewish literature. While I do heavily disagree with this belief, I see where this is coming from.
My interests when growing up has always been with foreign cultures, history, religion, and science. I would lump the ideas of science and foriegn religion into the same category of explaining aspects of the world. Call me crazy, a heretic, or anything else, but studying these can help us explain the nature of the creator. I use the term god-like for a specific reason, for people think these things are gods, but are actually just the resualt of the creator, just like how angels and demons are allowed by the creator. The notion of false gods comes from the fact we do not worship them, do not idolize them, the same with angels and demons, because the creator is the one who made it all. The result of people worshipping these things also comes to why people see science and the Torah. I am someone who believes in the Torah as the word of the lord, but with many hidden aspects, these hidden aspects can be found in science and other religions. The lord choose us to read into the Torah, as he choose all of humans to read into the world. My main reason I adapted this view is because of how the lord choices the name YHWH, a name of a pagan god. I am saying that the lord is in a way letting humans view him through a pagan view, as even in the caanite paganism we can still find the lord in it.
If my view of how humans perceive the world around them is true, than the secular and pagan Jew is just doing so. They do as the same of a Jew who perceives the Torah as a book with no huge deeper meaning. But I will draw the line somewhere of humans viewing the world, as through my Jewish view, Christianity is not as excusable. They view Jesus was the lord through a trinity, which is worse than any belief. They feel the need to mislable the lord and distort him. The science and pagans at least stay away from making damaging claims on the idol of the creator, just disbelief. No idolization is has damaging as idols of the creator himself.
